Hi, my name is Yuliya Kuzmina.

 

I am the founder of Wellness For Champions

I am a successful, Stott certified, mat and reformer Pilates instructor, fitness professional and a nutrition and health coach. I have experience of teaching Pilates in the most prestigious clubs and studios all over the world for the last 10 years. 

From Sydney to Los Angeles, Monaco to Hong Kong and Moscow. Royal Sydney Golf club, Equinox, Kooyong Tennis club, Monte Carlo country club and Gold’s gym just to name a few.
My main specialty is Pilates and Exercise Physiology for rotational sports. And over the last 8 years I have helped many golfers and tennis players to perform better.
My strength and unique approach is combining different modalities to improve peoples performance, well-being and overall life. I use Pilates, Exercise physiology, Myofascial release, mindfulness as well as nutrient dense balanced diet and healthy lifestyle changes to achieve the best results for my clients. I am consistently learning new techniques and strategies how we can improve our performance. So I am on top of the newest trends. But the more I learn the more fascinated I am by the human body and its abilities.

 

Over the years I have created and successfully run number of individual and group programs and workshops for clubs, companies and individual clients. I always try to offer a simple, doable and sustainable program that will give them the maximum improvements, without dramatic changes, struggle or time consumption.
My favourite clients are active people who play golf, tennis, skiing and cycling. Particular because those people have a lot of muscle imbalances and it is crucial for them to find the correct for them exercise routine and improve theirs sports technique. This will help to improve performance and avoid injuries.

I grew up in Siberia, where I was an elite gymnast and a competitive swimmer. I came to Australia as a student 15 years ago and fell in love with this country. So I am now proud to be called an Aussie.
I have a Master’s degree in International communications from Macquarie University in Sydney, and I have been working in Marketing and Advertising before I followed my passion for the human body and the ways to improve our performance.
So I developed my skills in Fitness, Pilates and nutrition to a professional level in order to be able to help people.

 

I am passionate about living a healthy and happy life for myself: traveling, great food, beach, cooking, Pilates, cycling, skiing and swimming. My favourite Saturday morning activity is to go to the local Farmers Market and cook a healthy lunch for my friends and family. Running on the beach makes me happy and Pilates makes my body look and work as it’s best! 

I am all about being in your top shape to enjoy life fully!
